I received an invitation in the mail…to pursue a Big Red Box from the Mickey Moms Club. I just LOVE getting mail from my “Friends at the Walt Disney World® Resort”!

Of course, I responded. I wanted that box! I answered my three essay questions on the spot and submitted my answers promptly. Experience has taught me that this type of Disney promotion is popular with Mickey Moms so you have to respond fast to be considered! I had a good feeling about this one though. My answers were appropriate and my submission just had to be one of the first few to come in. I opened the email soon after it was sent and responded to it immediately. I did my best and was content with that.

But my confidence began to fade as the announcement date approached. No email from Disney in my inbox, but there was no news on twitter either. Even if I weren’t selected to receive the celebration kit, I would have heard if someone else had been. It would have been tweeted! So I waited. And then it arrived…the email from Mickey Moms Club appeared in my Windows Mail.

Dear Mickey Mom,
Congratulations! You have been selected to host your own Walt Disney World® ” What Will You Celebrate?” In-Home Celebration. We’re so excited to be a part of creating a magical celebration for you and the guests you choose to share it with!
