Everything Animation, the Exhibit – My Disneyana Collection

I have an exciting Disney project in the works. My local museum is presenting the “Everything Animation” ehxibit this fall and I’ve been asked to participate!

I was intimidated at first…wondered if I have enough items of interest. But after walking through my home, taking a mental inventory…I realized that I can easily come up with a large display of Disney animation items for the showing.

There’s a toaster, cake pans, mugs, plates, cookie jars, clocks, soap dispenser, vase, spoon rest, towel, ice cube tray…

Old postcards, show programs, magazines, coloring books…

Patches, buttons, magnets and pins…

Plushes, figurines, dolls, play sets, games, trading cards…

Purses, jewelery, hats, beach towels…

Lithographs, movie posters, albums, VHS, DVD

You get the idea…I have a lot of stuff for the exhibit. I’m super excited at the idea of seeing my collection displayed all in one place and I’m confident that I really do have enough great items of fill those cases. More than enough actually.

This is going to be a lot of fun for me…and once the exhibit opens it should be enjoyable for the public as well. I’ll keep you posted on how it’s going.
