Disney Almost Wordless Wednesday – Love is in the Air

“Love is in the Air” is this week’s “Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop”theme at Focused on the Magic.

When you think of romance at Walt Disney World, Splash Mountain probably isn’t your first thought (or your second, or third), but it’s mine. The reason being, this is the ONLY attraction that I’ve ever ridden as a couple with my significant other. We’ve been together now for over eight years and we’ve been to WDW nine times…yet we’ve only done this one attraction alone together. AND IT WAS FANTASTIC! Hopefully we’ll have many more rides like this in our future.

For more fun Disney photos, be sure to check out the Wordless Wednesday blog hops at Focused on the Magic and The Info Mouse.

Oh goodness, Diane. Just like every other photo of me on Splash…I look as though I’m plummeting to my death. Anton has a pleasant grin on his face and the rest of my ride buddies do too. I don’t know why…but I cannot relax while dropping…ever. Love it though.

    Thanks bunches for asking! :o)

What a great series! This is very sweet. Gotta sneak in those “couples” moments in the tiny windows that we can, huh? ;-) I hear that!

    Love these, thanks for sharing.

Right! We spend a good deal of our ride time doing Rider Swap. The youngest is now officially 40″, but it will still be rare that we ride alone together. We don’t even spend much time alone together away from WDW. A tad difficult with almost 1500 miles separating us.

And now I’ve shared too much. :o\ Thanks for stopping by, Tami!

What a special romantic memory. I have to say that Dan and I have never been alone on a ride at Disney. Now you got me thinking…lol.

It was a fluke to be sure. The two year-old was asleep in his stroller and the four year-old was playing contently with a new found friend at the Laughing Place playground. So…FASTPASSes in hand…we took off and left the teenager in charge of the two little ones. It was a little nerve-wracking (yet uneventful), but we all survived just fine and Mom had a blast with Dad for a change. I’m sure it was my turn. :o)

  15. That is so sweet! Romance can happen anywhere :)
