Wildlife Wednesday – African Painted Dogs
Painted dogs are large pack animals native to Sub-Saharan Africa. They have long legs, large ears and beautiful mottled coats. They prey largely on antelope.
You can find these gorgeous canids on the Kilimanjaro Safari. They share a spot on the savanna with hyenas so you may have to journey out more than once to catch them “at home.”
Conservation status – Endangered
